That is pretty funny coming from you, considering all your anti-Catholic comments.

Perhaps the Christians could kindly set the proper example for everyone else to follow.
Contrary to "popular" opinion, Religion does not equal Christianity, and Spirituality does not equal Christianity. Christianity is not the moral or spiritual authority, despite your fervent desire and belief that it is. The bible is not the only authoritive scripture, nor is it even the most authoritive scripture, again, despite your fervent desire to demand that it be so. In fact, Christians themselves do not agree either with or on their own scripture, unless they are talking to someone of their own denomination, so it is insulting to even suggest that someone is Anti-Christian, when there is no concensus among you as to what a Christian is.
How can one possibly be offended, if you are simply defending your own personal interpretation and opinion? Christians are here condemning Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, even blaming Muslims for all of the problems in the world. If you can't even agree on what is and isn't applicable and true in your own scripture, then how can you decide that someone else doesn't have the truth? What exactly are you defending?

Perhaps because the Christian outlook on life is blasphemous to the idea of a kind and benevolent Supreme Being. To think that a god would hate you so much that a demi-god would need to step in to appease His wrath only paints the picture of a jealous, angry being who is less forgiving than even my own earthly father. The Biblical supreme being appears to have been created in man's image rather than the other way around.
Also, the arrogance of assuming people are at the center of existence has been used as an excuse to wreak havoc upon all other "worthless" lifeforms. Again, where is the benevolence and compassion in that?

Why are 'christians' so determined to change everyone around them?
I imagine people are fed up with having Bible verses thrust at them and being told that they are immoral and unclean and are going to hell.
Doesn't justify being mean back. But I would have to say that the 'christians' have become the persecutors in this country. Take a look at the loving actions of Fred Phelps, and the compassionate wisdom of Pat Robertson and all the laws that concerned 'christians' are trying to pass that would seriously curtail the freedoms and rights of people they don't even know.

Most of it is the fact that many of us are attacked daily by Christians trying to save our souls. It gets really annoying when they have't even read the Bible and act high and mighty and righteous. I have read the Bible, several times and in several translations. I have studied a lot of things. I CHOOSE not to believe in Jesus and am frankly kind of sick being told about Hell. At this point, if there was a guarantee that the "you're going to hell" Christians aren't going to be there, I'd volunteer. Most of my answers are respectful but some of the questions that are intended to start a fight, I take the opportunity to let my smart alec nature out.

at the beginning, anti-christian would not advise atheist chum (agnostics, satanists, different religions) could all be 'anti-christian'. they don't seem to be rants, they are oftentimes rational trains of theory that do in actuality incorporate, or are in basic terms 'cogent' questions. How can the familiar public of the christians on yahoo solutions assert that our questions are invalid, pondering they have not any 'cogent' solutions to them. Sorry, qouting the bible isn't an answer, that's infact admission on your section which you have not any answer. In stead of an answering, in view that they can't accomplish that, they in undemanding terms regurgitate the dogma that has ate up their existence, as ive seen oftentimes in a condescending way.

Frankly... welcome to the world. I do not understand the anti christian. Are you suggesting that only Christians are singled out?? Christians are not the only religion! YES??
When you pose a question it is open to everybody not just humans of your choice. So you should expect and actually enjoy other opinions. True there are always idiots around on both sides of the fence but the majority are descent. Your Complaint suggests that everybody is mean.

Do you mean anti-Christians or non-Christians? That's a big difference. I am non-Christian in the sense that I don't believe their beliefs/views to be correct; however, I am not anti-Christian in the sense that I do not like Christians.
I always ask polite questions. You can link to my profile and look. You will see that I try my best to be polite, and if I think it might be construed offensively, I note ahead of time that it is not my intent to be rude. As for my answers, I state my opinion and why I have that opinion in as polite a way as possible. I am rude only when the question is offensive.

their are so much they know not and they defend the most outragious text ever written, i know they dont know a woman claimed jesus rose from the grave and that she is the first to witness this now imagine this huh?
they also dont know the kjv is a very faulty translation, they dont even know jesus constantly said he must pray to his father and they must pray to their father and he loved and worshipped Allah (your god) and they dont even deal with god and this is so shameful and we constantly try to asked why are you all so blind and not one understand by reading the bible that paul is the one whom started this mess! christianity shoud be renamed paulity he is the one who began this religion yet he is mentioned very little when a christian start telling you how jesus said this yea and not one of them truely wrote any of what is written in ther name it was 100 of years and all of it is hear say and many of you dont know the many many books left out of the book some men sat and decided what should be added and what should not bel added and whom ever did this new testament did the biggest ,and worst things in literatur history and the many whom dont see it is just washed yes brain washed
now these arent insults i i dont understand why logic plays no part in understanding there are so many errors in the bible it could have never been written if written today!

Because the religious right has its head so far up its as s that the rest of us have to yell so we can be heard. If you believe Global Warming is a myth, evolution is a theory and embrionic stem cell research increases abortion rates you NEED to be yelled at. Having a belief in a God, any God, doesn't offend liberals, but claiming you are a better person because you God is the right on is just idiotic to rational people. More wars have been fought in the name of religion than anything else and from what I learned in 17 years of catholic school God isn't a big fan of killing people.

Part of the reason that so many Non-Christians are insulting is that many Christians are just as bad. I personally am not Christian, but that does not mean that I am ANTI-Christian. I am opposed to those who would condemn me for following a differant spiritual path than they do WHATEVER their path may be....
It is people like the one who tried to "throw the Devil out of me" for being a Tarot Card reader in New Orleans that really push my buttons.......
