YAAR TAKE IT COOL
There is no problem legally if you married your mother's sis's gal.
But of course there will be your conscience which will be pricking you forever. There will be no problem having a child unless there is something wrong with your or her system.Of course you cant have a baby with her if she is under 13.Anyways there will be no problems

Firstly no one can tell you who to and not to love.
And secondly, you can't marry a cousin if both your fathers are brothers.
So if you marry your mother's sisters daughter, there's nothing to worry about.

For example, my cousins, one being my father's sisters daughter and the other my father's brothers son.
For some cultures or even countries it's common to keep it in the family. Of course not like brother sister or sickening thoughts that some people tend to have.

In Islam, most Muslim couples are family. I mean, somewhere along they ancestors were cousins and so forth.

In the United States, many states do allow first cousins to marry. (http://marriage.about.com/cs/marriagelicenses/a/cousin.htm)

But, it is usually frowned upon by society in general. I know that I wouldn't want to marry a relative, much less a first cousin.

Albert Einstein married his first cousin. And so did Charles Darwin, who had exceptional children.

First cousins face lower risk of having children with genetic conditions than is widely perceived.(http://www.washington.edu/newsroom/news/2002archive/04-02archive/k040302a.html)

As for a Hindu marriage:

Two persons are said to be within the degrees of prohibited relationships:

If one is a lineal ascendant of the other. For example a Daughter can not marry her father and grandfather. Similarly, a mother can not marry her son or grandson.

If one was the wife or husband of a lineal ascendant or descendant of the other. For example, a son can not marry his stepmother. Similarly, a person can not marry his Daughter-in -Law or son -in-law.

If one was the wife of the brother or of the father's or mother's brother or the grandfather's or grandmother's brother of the other.

If the two are brother and sister; uncle and niece; Aunt and Nephew or children of brother and sister of two brothers or two sisters. It must have been noticed in some communities the marriage with the wife of the brother and mother's brother and the first cousins are solemnized, those marriages, in the absence of a custom in the community are not valid marriages.

(e) The parties are not apindas of each other, unless the customs or usage governing each of them permits of a marriage between the two. A apindas relationship with reference to any person extends as far as the third generation (inclusive) in the line of ascent through the mother, and the fifth (inclusive) in the line of ascent through the father.

In plain words, a person can not marry up to his second cousin from the mother's side and up to his fourth cousin from the side of the father. It is also necessary the parties should not be apindas of each other from either side.

In case, either party has a spouse living at the time of marriage, within the degree of prohibited relationship and are apindas of each other, the marriage between the parties shall be null and void. (http://www.helplinelaw.com/docs/main.php3?id=HIMA3)

Best luck to you.

There are several provisions in the Hindu Marriage Act of 195.. can't remember the exact year.

Your marriage will be Null & Void, unless you marry your mom's brothers daughter or your father's sisters daughter.

I know it is disheartening - It's best not to go ahead.

Best try to part ways.

I don't think there is no point in giving any further answer.

Good Luck

In the US this is illegal. I don't know what the law is in India, but it should be illegal. I understand that you love her, but if you have children there is a good chance that something will be wrong with them. With all the women in India, why would you choose a first cousin? I suggest ending the relationship and finding someone else. Good luck to you!

The girl you love is your first cousin. In the United States, it is illegal to marry a first cousin and considered incest. I am no expert, but I believe children out of such a union could be born with mental handicaps. Better to find yourself a different bride. Good luck.

I don't know if its legal. But its not a good idea, for you or for her.. Considering she is your 1st cousin, both of you are very closely related. There will be problems if both of you get married and have children, because your children will have a very high risk of being deformed, or have any other severe problems. And also her or your parents could object to the marriage since that she is so closely related to you. Its not suggested, as it will cause a lot of problems for both of you and your families later. And if you have children it will be worse. Best idea is to forget about her and go to marry someone else that you are not related to.

Depends on your country, religion, society and customs of your community.

I know at least 3 such couples, where mothers of each partner are real sisters. they are Hindu/ Jain Bania gujrati people. After initial repulse society has accept them.

It would be better if you do not go for having children as there can be some medical problems

It is not illegal to marry your first cousin but there may be some problems for your children because of close blood grouping. Consult a doctor for details.
