The onions comment left by the other users are true. You could also try boiling a pan of water with 2 cups of vinegar, burning incense, leaving some dishes of vinegar out and sprinkling baking soda on your carpets and leave overnight, vaccumm in the morning. Good luck!

Cut onions in half, stand each half in a saucer of water, and place around the house, they absorbe the smell.

I spilled a quart of paint myself and picked it up and no smell...
did you clean it all up.. if not then once the paint as dried it will no longer smell provided it is latex, oil may take a little longer..

Sounds strange but it works wonderfully. Get a few onions and cut them in half the onion obsorbs allt he odours !!

Just open all your windows and turn on as many fans as possible. The smell will vanish soon.
