Last week we found the upstairs lady's cat and tried to return it. and she said it wasen't hers. but I've seen all 3 of her cats sitting in the windows whenever I pull in the drive. And yesterday another of her cats was outside and apparently she's left town. We've let the cat come in to eat and poop but we already have 2 cats and they don't get along. We've put the cat in the hallway for now since it's a blizzard outside with snow whipping and hail and it's just really bad MI weather. Should I give this bitsh another chance to claim this one or just call the annimal cops or aspca or what?
I found a home for the first cat that she lied about easily. Should I just give away this one on her too? I intend on telling the landlord tomorrow when I pay rent, she's a cat lover too.

If you can't find the cat a home then I suggest you call the ASPCA. There are laws against animal abandonment and she may get in trouble which is what she deserves. I would report her. There are far too many people doing this type of thing and getting aaway with it.

Hey Herbie,
Sounds like you have quite the neighbor. If she is not claiming them I would definitely try to find good homes for the ones that seem to stray. If that isn't an option I would try an animal rescue before I go to the animal control. Animal control is usually over crowded with cats so more than likely they will probably put it to sleep which would really be sad.
I hope you had luck going to the landlord. Good luck with your neighbor.

I had a neighbor who turned me in to our landlady for letting my cat loose. I swore to my Landlady my cat Gracie was inside where she belonged. The Landlady knocked and had the cat in her arms and I gasped and said "I swear I have no idea how she got out. Just then my cat came out of my bedroom. This was not Gracie's kitten because Gracie had been spayed years before but they looked enough alike that even I was fooled at first. This could be what has happened with your neighbor!I don't know about the 2ND cat though.Give her a chance if you are that sure.

I'd call the ASPCA. Cats deserve TLC.

If she claims she does not own the cats then I think you have every right to find proper homes for them.
