Do you even bother to read them or do they just get a thumbs down to close them up?

I usually ignore them or give them the thumbs down so that they disappear. I hate when an answer uses the Bible to explain the Bible or uses the Bible to explain why Jesus is real. With the former, it's logically faulty to use something to prove that the same thing is real. For the latter, it's lost on many that if we don't believe in Jesus we don't believe the Bible is true so using it as support doesn't make sense.

Most the time i dont read it, the only time i do read is when someone quotes a passage from the bible & explains it . But those that post 20 passages from the bible for one answer & they dont even explain, its just a really silly thing to do.

They should explain more from thier own understanding of the question & then maybe quote 1 or 2 bible verses because people donot want to read 20 verses

IF the scriptures are important to the question being answered, I will usually attempt to wade through them. Unfortunately, I have found that many people take the "it's in the Bible, so it must be right" approach without considering that there are many things in the Bible that they are NOT choosing to put out there......

It all matters on the question asked. If it has no relevance to the question, then it is a thumbs down, but if the question is about religion or spirituality, then it is very useful.

Not good God again sticking his nose in geology. Poking Darwin. What a drag. But I do skim through it. It is amazing what contortions the mind of the believer will perform. IN a twisted way it is kind of fun.

Prepared cut and paste by yet another loser. I occasionally pull quotes of a verse or two, but those ready to launch dumps rarely approximate an answer. They usually demonstrate that their minds are empty and their clipboards are full.

I think, "I wonder how fast I can hit the thumbs-down button? Can I beat my last record?"
