People always want to "boost" their metabolism, but so many people don't even know what one is...
Your metabolism is just your body working, doing what it is suposed to do. Heart beating, lungs taking in oxygen, kidney's producing urine, bowels cranking out poo, stomach digesting food.
No pill can can beat your heart for you.. but some pills can make it beat faster, and snake oil salesmen will tell you it's because it is a Metabolism booster... a Contact cold pill can do that! Too much caffene can do that! So what!
The only thing that makes these bodily functions speed up, is water and excersise. That's why old people gain weight. That's why taking a big poo is so important to them. Because as they slow down, so does everything else. The only way to lose weight is to burn calories. A calorie is only a measurment of heat. Heat in the body turns the fat to a liquid that is able to exit the body via exhalation,out your nose and your mouth, and elimination such as pooping and peeing. I have actually heard that drinking ice water (Not just plain water) helps boost a person's metabolism a little because the body has to work harder to warm itself back up. Maybe do a web search to try to find info on this.

Exercise more. If you use an exercycle for 30 minutes it actually keeps your metabolism raised for like 3 hours.
