she's had an eating disorder for years (anorexia) you should probably shut up. regardless of having a baby she'd be motivated to lose it. you apprently don't know women as much s you think you do.

Yeah I know the feeling....
Go slow you didn't gain it overnight, so don't get on the scales everyday weighing yourselves.
Walking is the best exercise. Get your ipods going and walk a 1/2 everyday for the first week then just start increasing it. You have better results working together.
Make sure your doctor says your wife is able to do that much walking.

You can start off by talking walks at the park or around the block for 30 minutes a day 4 times a week. Try adding more vegetables in your diet...either steamed or lightly stir fried. Eat more lean poultry and fish. Try not to eat things with too much sugar or fats.

You wife shouldnt "go" on a diet at this time. However! It is very important for your wife to eat the right foods. She needs to think of the nutrients that passes to the baby. When I was pregnant, I recieved a book "What to expect when youre expecting" It is a miraculous book for the first time pregnancy. Everything you need to know is in that book. From day one, to STAY AWAY FROM CATS, to the days in the hospital. I highly recommend you get this book.

Too late for wifey-poo until after wee one is born. Starting a diet or exercise plan after becoming pregnant is not a healthy idea. Eating healthy is though! You know the routine, lots of veggies! Walking would be great for both of you though.

I suggest you hire a personal trainer and nutritionist since you're just starting out. that way you dont end up getting fooled by diets and you'll immediately be on the right track. Once you get the hang of everything you can do everything yourselves.

My mom actually found this great solution to loosing weight and she's going to try it cause her friends are taking it and loosing weight. it's a pill called Calogel and they have 2 weight loss kinds, they have the "night time" and "day time" pills you take just before bed and/or when you first wake up, they also have other solutions as well.

here is the web site: http://www.justbeforebed.com/index.php?

Tell her she fat...that'll help

..Your pretty much screwed. After pregnancy, women's hormones are screwed up and they are not totally rational or motivated in anything else but the child. Start on an exercise and diet program yourself..after you lose some weight it will motivate her to lose weight. That was my situation.
