Best place to meet good guys?

Question

Im not much of a club hopper or a bar person. Nor would I want to meet someone under the influence of a few drinks.

Currently Im involved in a lot of hobbies... a martial art, art classes, theater, and other artistic venues like gallery openings and open mics.

Im a regular to a coffee shop... but Im not bumping into any guys there.

A relationship isnt a HUGE priority or anything but I certainly wouldnt mind being open to one.

I dont want players, wanna be gangstas, wanna be rappers, wanna be pimps.

Im not looking for some monk either... just a well rounded guy.

Any ideas?

Grocery isle.
Bookstore-- go to book signings and poetry readings.
Have a card made up with your name, email and phone number.
Hand it out to guys you find intriquing.
Library--? kinda quiet there, i perfer to go to a bookstore with a coffee shop, and then you just bump into the person and laugh, and say oh, we must have something in common, same tastes in books, then start up a chat.

if he's a reader, he's gotta brain, and then say, let's get a cup of joe and chat,

Music stores!!
Good place to meet guys in your music interest catagory.
"What other bands/groups do you enjoy besides _____ cd in your hand."

sometimes we need to be assertive w/o being aggressive.
(smile **slip the guy your card, and say call me sometime, or if you're the quiet shy type just email me-- I'm interested in getting to know you a little better...no strings attachched".

Okay, change your coffee shop hours-- maybe you are hitting the nanny/mommy stroller crowd??

Or go to Borders on poetry reading night or Book signing Author night!!

Take an art class-- sence you are interested in the arts.
They do have classes where groups of singles travel to museums together.

check out your community and see what classes they have for singles. Like ball room dancing, or little trips around town to get to know the area better.

do have a card with your name on it, First name, and email, and phone number. Give it out, and see who calls.
don't give it out to creeps.

I like yellow cards, they show courage, you can make that simple no frills card on your computer!
