What are the obvious taboos and what are ridiculous things to get mad over?

be gentleman or lady in most situations. kind and attentive and understanding.
dont call names and dont tell the other that they shouldnt feel a certain way. acknowledge their feelings. dont take it out on your partner if your day was bad. be nice if theyre having a bad hair day. :)

Considering the fact that every couple is comprised of TWO individuals there really can't be any set rules of relationship etiquette.

never get mad over old girlfriend they are just that old, unless he seems hung up and that will be obvious. if he treats others well than he should treat you well, manners are important they show respect for others. if he's rude to waiters and such, run.

There are no do's and dont's in any relationship that is true, only the relationship is important and nothing else.
