Not Christian, but I think I would have built up a lot of credit with Thor for having observed his day by fasting every Thursday for 16 years. Shall I pit the hammer of Thor against the lightning bolts of Zeus? The new reality show: When Gods Fight....have humans bet on which god will win...my advice--bet on Kwan Yin...

First off, in the Afterlife, Hellenic beliefs were NOT that you go before Zeus, even in his aspect of Zeus Cthonios. After death the soul would be judged by three judges named
RHADAMANTHYS, MINOS & AIAKOS.

The three were originally mortal men, sons of the god Zeus, who were granted their position after death as reward for the first establishment of just law on earth.

Aiakos was the guardian of the keys of the Haides and the judge of the men of Europe, Rhadamanthys was lord of Elysion and judge of the men of Asia, and Minos was the judge of the final vote. Some say there was a fourth judge Triptolemos who presided over the souls of the Initiates of the Mysteries

As a side comment it is interesting to note that in Dante's Inferno, it was Minos who determined what circle of Hell the sinner would be condemned to.

This being said, I have the firm belief that we all are judged according to the faith we live by. Even though I am not Christian there is something appropriate in the Bible. "As you judge, so shall you be judged"

First, I would stand tall before him.

Then, I would point out that I was acting as a proper son of Zeus should have. I would say that I was given a spark of life from Zeus himself, and used it to stand up to all the challanges set before me. I would say that now the spark had grown to a fire, and I was ready to join him.

Finally, I would say that I knew that he would do whatever he needed to do, and I, like always, would do the same.

And if the Romans were right, he would laugh, and say "Welcome, Home!".

good in terms of what? human beings, or God? in view that God's the decide, human beings could desire to be good with the help of His standards as a manner to bypass to Heaven, so as because of the fact of this you may desire to be free of sin. BTW, i do no longer think of i ought to furnish up my spot in Heaven (if it have been achievable) for each person...... Hell is a terrible place and that i would not desire to bypass there. Yeah that's slightly selfish, yet i'm human.

I had heard that the name Jesus was a hebrew deravite of Zeus -- but it seems unwarranted - So I doubt I'll see Zeus

What will you do when you have to face God in the afterlife (if you will) and he condemns you for having worshipped a false god?

This questions should be phrased this way, since that way is never going to happen :)

What's your source? Is there a writing that explains what Zeus wants? What did he promise. Where are the prophecies pertaining to the future of the world?

I'd hope Zeus will be forgiving and understanding.

And if not I'll say," I'm glad I didn't worship an angry, vengeful, smiting God like you!"

Ask him why, if he was so powerful, did he let it happen? Then, I would ask for a drink of that good wine they were always chugging down.
