12 rounds at Jr. miiddle weight. There's no way it would go the full 12! Two explosive punchers!

Great match up, but Tito is one of the greats, Jackson, while very good, wasn't one of the greats. I got to believe Trinidad would have outlasted Jackson and dropped him in the middle rounds. Still the specter of Hopkins will always haunt Tito, and there are real similarities between Hopkins and Jackson. Very interesting potential, and certainly not an easy one to call.

Tito by KO in eight.

This would be a great match up between two of the hardest punchers (at their weight) ever to grace the boxing ring, you are absolutely right that this one is not going the distance, the way i see this one going is they both come out throwing bombs and exchange knockdowns early but both are too proud to stay down i think that there may well be futher knockdowns as we move into the middle rounds but i cant see it getting much further than that i think Jackson finally runs out of steam in about the 6th with Felix "Tito" Trinidad putting the Hawk down for the full 10 count with a peach of a right hand and then Trinidad collapses with exhaustion in his corner after one of the fights of the century. Great match up of two of my favourite Jr Middleweights without doubt. Great question.

Outstanding fight and yes I don't really believe that it would go the distance with the explosive power of both men. I think that while it lasts there would be a lot of brutal exchanges with both men being rocked with a possibility of both men hitting the canvas at least once. I believe that Trinidad is a little better boxer of the two and probably sets up his punches better. I believe that Jackson would knock Tito down early in the fight but he survives it and keeps him off of him with great punches of his own. In about round 8 I see Tito landing a crisp left hook and sending Julian into the ropes followed by a barrage of punches which prompts the referee th intervene and stop the fight.

Wow Lady Vette! Now this is a FIGHT! I can't see this fight going past 3 rounds! Julian Jackson hit like a truck! His KO's of Terry Norris, Buster Drayton, and Herol Graham were frightening! Tito could drop some bombs too and neither fighter had very much defense, so this fight would come down to who had the better beard, And Tito had a habit of getting knocked down early in fights and he was even rattled by a past his prime Pernell Whitaker, so i don't think he would take Jackson's punches and recover like he did in other fights, Julian just hit to damn hard! Jackson wins by a 3rd round knockout in a hell of a fight! A brutal war while it lasts! Can you say Hagler-Hearns? Hell of a question!

guy it is a reliable fite... of both, Jackson is the genuine 154 fighter, i in effortless words bear in thoughts Tito combating 2 fights at that weight, DOMINATING Olympic Hero Davis Reid, and then THRASHING yet another Olympian and 154 champion Fernando Vargas Trinidad holds each actual benefit over Jackson. yet Jackson can sneak those punches in like he did adverse to Terry Norris i in simple terms dont see that occurring to Trinidad Trinidad by seventh round KO

I would have to go with Tito. Jackson could throw punches with the best of'em and both had serious KO power. In the two fights Trinidad lost to Hopkins and Winky he was outboxed and kept coming foward and never let up. He always thrived during serious exchanges especially in the Vargas and Mayorga fights. Even when he took a knockdown in his career he bounced back to his feet instantly. Even if Jackson put him down I don't think he'd ever put him out. Jackon was also more vulnerable to getting KO'ed early so if it was a slugfest I think it would play in Tito's favor and end up in a stoppage.

no way it would go twelve and trinidad would take it. the hawk, julian jackson, had a great punch but got hit easy. he was a good opponent but not champion caliber. he was just to easy to hit and if you git hit by trinidad during his prime, you were going out!

Now you talking!LOL! You pick 'em!"The Hawk " Was no joke! I think who ever would have landed the best shot first,or the best conditioned fighter would win if they went to deep water.I say Julian Jackson via K.O. in 5 rds.

If it goes 12 it is a draw. I can find no differences in these fighters, they are even.
