Get on with your decorating and forget those low life who go around permanently with their thumbs down. They just click away and it may not have anything to do with the sincerity or aptness of your answer. It is just their way. I will probably get a couple for this.
Try some maroon, tan or wine colour.

I've had decent answers that didn't deserve more than at least one thumbs down getting more as well, or good answers not deserving any at all. People just think differently. I wouldn't let it get to you, since they don't know you, and probably haven't even seen you. Just form your own opinions and don't worry about doing anything stupid or questionable, since everyone makes mistakes. It's best to just learn from them. Still, don't keep from doing what you feel is right.

I know when it happened to me I ended up questioning myself and it worried me that was ages ago, if I get them now it don't bother me. I only give a thumbs down when someone is very nasty. I do like giving thumbs up even when it means the other person has more than me, but it is cause it's a better answer than mine. Don't worry about it as it won't bother you when you get a few. I like to be kind and honest.

Maybe it's a troll because all the answers to this question are getting a thumbs down too. It's not much the sincerity of the answer as much as how much a person likes to click the thumbs up and down for fun.

Thumbs down is ok, it is better than when someone says, I disagree completely with the answer of the person above me is completely wrong, and I cannot log into the website she gave.
Sad too :(

Yahoo Answers is not objective, scientific, or fair. Anything goes around here and much of it doesn't make sense.

Now, it depends on the type of red - if it is a deep rich red, tan is a nice complement. If the red is bright, then white or even a very light pink is nice.

A jealous someone may have voted you down in hopes you would look bad in hopes they would get voted up...

or, a slip of the mouse,

an evil troll marking everyone thumbs down cuz they are clueless...

or...whatever. Just blow it off.

Athena gets another star in hopes someone can answer her color question better than I am able.

They asked the question and didn't like your answer, don't take it to heart my dear. If a similar question is asked by someone else you may hit the nail on the head. Keep Going.
