I feel that’s very individual as in our individual perception of, what is a Soul.
There were parts the answers that I agreed with and disagreed with, So before I choose, I will put down the bits I agreed with. Just to share.
Consciousness, compassion and love intertwined, it's "who" we are, a soul as the ESSENCE of who I am,
The soul is aware of itself, “ the will” Your unique personality. The parts of you that no-one can take away, through force or coersion, and that you will never give away, but are always willing to share.
I believe as your soul ages, so does your intelligence, intuition, knowledge, and conscious. “your core”. When you leave this body you have, you are still going to have your core,
It's who you are. Your true Self. The soul is immortal.. Never dies, The spirit entwines itself into your soul. The body is the "world-consciousness," the soul is the "self-consciousness," and the spirit is the "God-consciousness." United in fellowship with the divine.

I have a fairly unusual view on this one, I think. I believe that a soul is the part of you that's left behind when you die. I believe it's the special memories of your unique personality that people will remember you by. The personality traits that make you uniquely you. The parts of you that noone can take away, through force or coersion, and that you will never give away, but are always willing to share.

The body is the "world-consciousness," the soul is the "self-consciousness," and the spirit is the "God-consciousness." There are five organs in the body which afford man the five senses. This physical body enables man to communicate with the physical world. This is why it is called the "world- consciousness." The soul comprises that part in man known as the intellect, which makes man's existence possible. The part of love generates affections toward other human beings or objects. Affections originate from the senses. All these are parts of man himself; they form the personality of man. Hence, they are called the "self-consciousness." The spirit is the part with which man communicates with God. With this part man worships God, serves Him, and understands his relationship with God. Hence, it is called "God-consciousness." Just as God dwells in the spirit, the self dwells in the soul, and the senses dwell in the body.
The soul is the meeting point; here the spirit and the body join. Man communicates with God's Spirit and the spiritual realm through the spirit and receives and expresses power and life in the spiritual realm through this spirit. He communicates with the outside world of senses through the body; the world and the body interact with one another. The soul lies in between these two worlds and belongs to these two worlds. On the one hand, it communicates with the spiritual realm through the spirit, and on the other hand, it communicates with the physical world through the body. The soul has the power of self-determination; it can make decisions concerning the things related to it in the environment and can choose or reject them. It is impossible for the spirit to control the body directly; it requires a medium. This medium is the soul, which was produced when the spirit touched the body. The soul is in between the spirit and the body; it binds the spirit and the body together as one. The spirit can rule over the body through the soul and subject it under God's power. The body can also induce the spirit through the soul to love the world.
The soul is the master of a person because man's will is part of the soul. When the spirit controls the whole being, it is because the soul has yielded itself and has taken a lower position. If the soul rebels, the spirit will not have the power to control it. This is the meaning of "free will" in man. Man has the absolute right to make his own decisions. He is not a machine which turns according to God's will. He has his own faculty of deliberation. He can choose to obey God's will, and he can choose to oppose God's will and to follow the devil's will. According to God's arrangement, the spirit should be the highest part and should control the whole being. Yet the main part of man's personality, the will, is of the soul. Man's will (soul) has the power to choose to let the spirit rule, to let the body rule, or to let the self rule. Because the soul is so powerful, the Bible calls it "a living soul."

A tree grows a fruit this is the food we desire to eat. A body grows a soul this is the fruit God desires as children to him.You are the soul. When a person is baptized a spirit entwines itself into your soul as a councilor and guide. Be careful to get baptized and receive the holy spirit because their is other spirits which can enter into you if you play occult games or practices.

The soul is who you are and what you think and feel. It is works through your consciouness and is the voice inside your brain. It is the real you that no one else knows, all your beliefs, fears, dreams, hopes, aspirations, doubts, and your commitments. The form of your soul is dictated by God and is seen in the form of the human body you live in. This is why you are known in the way are known in sum total of both body and character to those who have died and some have met in short out of the body experiences.
It is the real you living inside the shell of your human earthly body. It is your spiritual being. That new part of you that is like the the butterfly after death has freed your body from the caterpillar's existence you lived in before.
It is eternal and can exist with ideas and thoughts that are never ending. The soul is seperate and apart from your body, and brain. The body has areas in your body where your spiritual being to reside in. Many people experiencing out of the body experiences in my opinion have shown this to be so.
The soul itself is of divine origin. Our names and our characteristics are inherited from our earthly parents genetics. But our souls are immortal and come from God. God said all souls are mine. That is the part that needs to be united in fellowhip with the divine not just while we live on earth, but after we die. God loved the world, the souls of man so much, he was willing to die for the salvation of souls, to bring them back into fellowship with him.
Some think the soul of man is a human construct. If man created the idea of a soul then finite man who has no understanding of the infiinte universe does not have the authority to say a soul exists.
If man heard this from his creator first from the very beginning of man's created exitence on this earth, then the knowledge that man has a soul comes from divine knowledge and intelligence.

There is a biblical description of soul. Man is body, soul, and spirit. This is about 1500 BC.
In modern day, you really don't hear about man being body, soul, and spirit; you usually hear about body and soul. But is this soul that same as a biblical soul? The answer is no. When man dies the body and soul separate, the soul is immortal..

A soul is all of you, wrapped up in one great little package. It is who you are, what you believe, how you interact, and what you feel. It's so hard to explain, but anyone who has one knows. I have to wonder what happened to some souls. There are certain people I know that walk around like they don't have one. I believe as your soul ages, so does your intelligence, intuition, knowledge, and conscious. Great question, but so hard to talk about. It's one of those things when you just know, but don't know how to say it.

You. How can I describe it? um....ya know how when your dreaming, your still you, and you can still see, even though your eyes are closed? Your mind is your soul. Not your actual brain, but your core. When you leave this body you have, you are still going to have your core, it's who you are. Have you ever heard stories of people having near death experiences? They see. It is often referred to, as being,"in the spirit", my late Grandpa had one of these experiences. He said he saw the doctors trying to revive him. He said it was like he was in the air above them. He was technically "dead" for 4 minutes. He also accepted Jesus after the experience. He was formerly an atheist. He never said what God revealed to him; but to prove he wasn't lying, he made my Grandma climb up and look on top of the cabinet in the hospital room- to find to dusty towel he saw while he was "dead".

I'm just curious with which one of us you'll agree. You are a soul. I am a soul. I could've proved that with some verses, but you said you don't want us to do that so I respect your request.
