Since its 11 o clock and her bday is tomorrow, i was thinking a homemade card and a single rose (one of those fake ones in the plastic tubey things) on our first date, plan sound good enough? im in middle school just so you know

If you are completely sure she likes you back, then definitely bring her a rose/poem/letter (whichever you can do). You don't need anything big and flashy or wrapped, she will love it if you bring her something handmade.

Get her a card. Me and my friends have all agreed on this rule Dont buy girls presents or jewelry before six months of dating. The reason being is if u start giving this gurl everything at the begining then she is going to EXPECT you to get her everything on certain occasions. Plus you need time to get to know her and the things she likes and dislikes. Just be simple a card with a little something from ur heart. Trust me women always appreciate when you take the time to think about them...

i would say, being a girl, that the plastic flower thing is sort of tacky, but the card idea is awesome, girls really go for the sweet stuff like cards made just for them by a guy they like.
so, get her her favorite cookies or something, anything but the plastic rose! lol. get her a real rose only when things get serious between you two.
oh, and it's not like i'm some old person who has forgotten about being young, i'm only 17 myself.
good luck with the girl!

youre going to ask her out "on' her birthday? maybe she already has plans...maybe she cant date. but a handmade card and flower is very sweet anytime. i just dont know how to answer some of these questions from young teens...i have a son in middle school...i dont mind if he likes or someone likes him...thats natural....but dating? in middle school? nah uh.
the gift sounds very nice though kiddo. the date thing is probably too much for both of you. ask your folks...rather...inform them of your 'plan'. k? peace

Good idea! Hope all works out well. You could sing "Happy Birthday" to her as you are handing her the rose in you best singing voice.

A hand made card sounds nice. Its straight from the heart, and what every girls needs a message or gesture from the heart.
