I have been hanging out with my best friend and this girl for a few weeks now and i started falling for her. The worst part is that my best friend also likes her...so i decided to step aside cause they seem so close. I can't stop thinking about her but i don't wanna ruin my friendship with my friend of 8yrs...did i do the right thing?

which of you do she seem interested in? maybe she only sees both of you as friends....

relationships come and go...friends are far and few in between. if he beat you to the punch in approaching her...oh well.

you seem to really care about your friend to step back, that's a character of a gentleman...

you'll come across your own diamond soon...be patient and keep looking...

best wishes!

It's hard to say. Keeping a friendship or gaining a possible girlfriend that could turn into a marriage. Sure you could step aside, and be left with the "what if" question for a while. You could move on and find someone else. You just have to do what you think is right in your own heart. None of us are qualified to answer this question for you.

yes u r on right track. coz u will find a new girlfriend but it is difficult to find out the best friend in this world. and remember one thing, lover sometime may broke relationship with u, but the friendship is for lifetime. so u should be careful about friendship. have a nice day.

IF u think this way, you are wrong. Talk to your best fren. Thrash it out internally whether he really fancy the girl or not. But the last final choice would be the girl. She's not an item, and if she know that both of you pushing her here and there, she will definitely kill both of you.

Talk it out. You are not acting loyal. You are avoiding problem.

I think so. If you and the girl are meant to be, it will happen. You are a good friend. If she would leave your friend for you it would be wrong and how would you know that she wouldn't leave you afterward. Give it some time and think about your friendship and other relationships.

Yes, you did some right things but you have to REALLY tell both the ladies how you feel about both of them. Decide as soon as possible or else things will get worst for you.

Yeah. What a great friend you are. My friend did the same thing to me. She liked this guy, but i liked him too. And she stepped aside, and well, im married to him. but she told me she liked him months later when me and jason were together.

Well first thing you could do is choose between your friend and this girl, if this girl is very important to you then go for it and anyway it’s the girl’s decision whether to choose you or him. May the best man win!

hey buddy, y not leave this to the girl. she's in the best position to make a decision. n u r not doing any harm to ur friend. just place urself in his place once and ask urself whether ur friend wud do u any harm if he proposed to the girls despite knowing ur feelings. besides, ur filmy sacrifice may go waste if the girl doesn't like ur frnd.

it's not nice to let the girl choose between the two of you. it'll sound pathetic.

if the girl seems to like you more, then go for it.

but if not, it's better to step aside.
