Drink lots of water. I think its about 6-8 16 oz glasses of water, I could be wrong on that figure so look it up. Water as a purifying effect on the body and it will reduce water retention due to sodium.
Count calories (not as hard as it sounds, there are plenty of sites on the net that can help you) to stay under the 2000 calories a day mark. As long as the amount of calories you burn is more than the amount you consume, you will definitely lose weight. Also, try to limit your complex carbohydrate consumption (sugar, white bread)
Do excercise, 30 minutes of cardio at least three times a week and light weight training. More muscle, even a little, burns more calories a day.
Hit the sauna, a 10-20 minute session increases your heart rate 50-75%. This provides the same metabolic result as physical exercise and is the equivalent of going on a brisk walk.
Keep your metabolism up and burning calories by eating a light snack (fruit, salad, an egg, etc) every 4 hours. If you g any longer than 4 hours than your metabolism will slow down. If you plain just don't eat than your body will actually store more fat and it will be harder to lose.
...and of course, DON'T fall into bulemic/anorexic activities. THEY DON'T WORK. I don't know you so this is just a general warning b/c that s***'s out there. Dont fall for the fads either, if we could lose 10 lbs in a weekend doing the hollywood diet then I think everyone would do it.
My favorite copy/paste job, I wrote it

Hit the gym, my friend. It has to be done the old fashioned way, unfortunately. Changing what you eat, when you eat and how much you exercise will be the main factors in weight loss. If you go on a low carb, high protein diet and limit your calories to 1,100 to 1,200 daily and exercise four times a week for an hour each time, you could lose two to three pounds a week. But after you drop the weight, bring carbs (healthy ones) back into your diet because carbs are needed for brain function. Go online to get some menus for low-carb meals. Also, make sure you make the calories you do eat, healthy ones. Lots of grilled veggies, lean chicken and fish, salads with low calorie dressing, fruits, and whole grains. Make them as nutritious as you can and take a vitamin daily just to make sure. If the low-carb, high protein diet doesn't appeal to you, I lost 30 pounds once by going on the slim-fast shakes. I'd have two shakes a day, then a low cal dinner (usally one serving of protein like chicken or fish, steamed carrots, brocholi, or a garden salad and a slice of whole wheat bread). The shakes are delicious and filling and since I'm a chocoholic, it satified my cravings so I didn't eat the real thing!
I'd have two snacks also, usually a piece of fruit and some air popped popcorn or melba toast. Also, sugar free jello was a lifesaver. I'd have two cups a day for only 40 calories. But I still had to exercise! There's no getting around it. You'd have to drop your calories too low if you don't exercise, then you'll get weak from lack of nutrition. Good luck!

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

well it is very very easy if u need to lose it in such a long period - just start eating less every day. like eat only 2/3 of portions u eat now and u will be fine. also little bit exercises wouldn't hurt - maybe 1 hour 4 times a week?
ps. i wouldnt' advice on vinegar intake - u won't lose any weight and it will screw with your metabolism and digesting system. i tried it when i was much much younger - it doesn't help u lose weight

Weight Watchers, diet and exercise...its the only way. Really...if you start now you should lose initial weight and then plateu. I lost 40 pounds in 4 months, just by dieting using weight watchers, and working out ( I liked walking and then doing pilates).
Good Luck!

My advice is just limit snacks and run or do some source of exercise constantly. Find a activity you enjoy swimming, bike riding. This way losing weight is fun and no big diet is necessary.

Eat all the foods you crave and still lose weight: take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before a meal. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals. Hair and nails will become long and strong too. You will not overeat because ACV makes you feel full.

i know 2 people close to me who lost a lot of weight (minimum 2 kilos in a month) lately. pls. take note that they didn't know each other. according to them what they did was to walk every morning just right after they woke-up and before they had breakfast. minimum of 45 minute-walk per day. and they could eat whatever or how much they want.
you can try that, too. anyway there's really no harm doing that.

Reading this I just have to share something because I spent endless years jumping from diet to diet without seeing any results until I came across Pams magic plan (google it). Without doubt its the best weight loss that I have ever had and I have not put it back on to this day.
