Hepatitis A has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Hepatitis A is primarily spread by poor sanitation-people not washing hands after using the bathroom, for example. So, the answer is "people who don't wash their hands after they poop should be banned from handling food."

It's not a disease predominantly carried by gay people. Heterosexuals can transmit Hep A as well as homosexuals. Should heterosexuals be banned from handling food?
Probably the best solution is just to vaccinate all kids against hep A - the vaccination's pretyt effective and soon the disease ought to be mostly erradicated.

I am appalled that someone in this day and age can still ask such an ignorant question. FIrst of all, Hep A is spread through contaminated food. Anyone with Hepatitis A who does not follow hygienic practices can contaminate food. Second, there is no such thing as a homosexual disease. Even HIV/AIDS is not homosexual. In fact, if you look at the statistics, HIV is most common among black people. Are you saying most black people are gay? I think not. So please, lets try not to discriminate.

What the hell does Hep A and Homosexuals have in common?!!! I'm thinking a better idea would be to have Campos banned from handling themselves!

There are lots of homosexuals without any diseases and there are also lots of heterosexuals with diseases. Sexual preference has nothing to do with it. To suggest that Homosexuals should be banned from handling food is very discriminatory.

NO... Hepatitis can be spread by ANYONE.
Ask Pamela Anderson or Naomi Judd.
Handwashing is key to preventing transmission from preparer to consumer (food handling).

Not all people who have Hep A are gay, and not all gays have Hep A. I think the answer is clear.
