my boyfriend doesnt really listen to me. girls have you found any tricks? other than breaking up with them, obviously. im just talking getting something THROUGH their HEADS!!!??

haha i beg to differ about guys listening when it is important. in fact when i want to talk about serious things he just jokes around ENDLESSLY and cant stand silence

How do you approach your boyfriend when you are wanting to talk to him? If you constantly complain or speak to him with any harshness in your voice, he will not be susceptable to listen to you.
The best way to talk to him where he might listen and be open to what you may have to say is to talk to him in a calm tone of voice. Don't be bitchy to him. Don't come of negative or nagging. As a typical guy, I hate to be nagged.
Try this approach. If you have something to say to him. Try disarming him by being sweet and gentle. Then start off by saying something like, "I need to ask you something.....".
If that doesn't work, there is no hope that you will ever get into his head.

Make them repeat back to you what you just said. Do it cleverly by asking follow up questions, but if hes really dim you could probably get away with doing it condescendingly.

Stop whining and sound happy. That works for guys and gals.
I guess sometimes we all need to vent, but life is pretty good, and people are going to want to tap into all that good and not share your misery if it's chronic.

he acts like he is not listening but once you tell him that its over you will know that he was listening all the time they are very stubborn
