Obviously it does. Actually, what you want to do is, instead of play Ouija, you want to buy a box of alphabets cereal and just pour it onto a line of glue to see what THAT spells out. They're both kinda the same thing except with the cereal, you're not going to need another person.

Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can actually get your fortune from Monopoly. Of course the type of fortunes that come out of that thing is like, "You're going to jail" or "Collect 200 dollars" or "You're not flat broke and you have to pay taxes to the guy who bought a few houses on Park Ave."

Good luck with that.

the board is just a tool; it is you (and your partner in ouija) who make it work. well, if you are interested in the art of the occult, you will soon realize that there are other ways and means to 'achieve' what you want thru the ouija board. most people are interested to know about their future or chances of success in some important thing they are about to do. however, remember that nothing can absolutely substitute honesty and hard work. sometimes guys get carried away based on false perception or promises on what you can achieve by practising the occult way. many times they end up harming themselves and becoming a nuisance to others. It is like learning martial arts - a little knowledge can be dangerous. on the other hand, a true master is a resource for the society.

At least 2 people put at least one hand/finger each on the pointer, and allow the pointer to "drift" to different letters and symbols on the board. If you believe that no one is actually directing the pointer by pushing it, then there must be some ghostly entity that is moving the pointer.

If you believe in ghosts, you can also repeat this experiment without any human touching the pointer and see if the pointer moves by itself.

Have fun.

That's like asking "does a hammer work?"

A ouija board is a tool to be used. It's usually a tool for a demon to get into the minds of someone who misplaces their faith.

Yes, they make a lot of money for Parker Brothers.

No, they don't let you communicate with non-existing entities.

Yes, they do let you communicate with your subconscious mind, but probably not $20's worth. You'd get much more mileage out of a deck of tarot cards (or an I ching book) if you're so inclined.

No, they're not evil.

Yes, christians think they are.

yes and no. yes for those who believe, no for those who don't.
the board was first designed as a toy to entertain people who believed in the supernatural. proof of its genuineness to predict or answer questions cannot be verified, but that doesn't stop people using and believing in its abilities to predict the future and answer questions.
i've tried to use it, but have never been really impressed with it.
