Why do ALL HI JACKER/TERRORIST/SUICIDE BOMBERS CLAIM TO BE MUSLIM? What does that say about islam?

By killing/hurting many innocent people why still got rewarded. Also why I never hear any Christians/Jews/Catholics and other religion that have suicide bombers/Terrorist/Hi jacker.

They do not "claim" to be, they ARE all Muslim.

And no, you will not find Christians or Jews doing terrorist acts like this. By the way, Catholics are Christians too.

Many of the problems that the world has faced over the years have been because of differences in religion. Unfortunately, suicide bombers make headlines and as some PR people will tell you there is no such thing as bad press. There have been many people throughout history that have been willing to die for what they believe in but I can't think of too many things that I would really want to die for, especially if I'm causing it myself. The situation in Northern Ireland (Catholics and Protestants) has been at times very violent with many deaths and Europe has a long history of wars of one country against another and Catholics verses Protestants. Suicide bombers and other terrorists are probably mentally similar to those people that go out and shoot up shopping malls or serial killers, I don't think that any religion would want to claim these people as members! As a world we need to move away from people thinking that they have a corner on religion and that only their religion is the correct one, we need to live more by the Golden Rule and that is that we treat other people the way that we want to be treated!

I guess you never heard of the Irish Republican Army (IRA).

Terrorism is not something new. It has been around for a long time. And it is the terrorist you are describing, not someone following their religion.

Roman Catholicism ban terrorist, but members of the IRA were Catholic. And yes if need be, the IRA member was willing to do give up his/hers life. Did he/she strapped a bomb, no. But strapping a bomb and blowing it up did not start current terrorists.

Now to your question: Jesus was a religious leader but not a politician. Jesus had no interest in a worldly kingdom. So in western thought, the two are separated. In Islam, Muhammad was a prophet as well as a ruler (politician). This means that Muslims do not separate politics from religion; in many cases, politics is religion.

Islam forbids the killing of innocents. So we have a number of Muslims who believe European powers and Europeans are a threat to their religion. They see the United States as a growing menace. They move to the extreme and convince themselves that they need to kill all American in order to preserve their radical politicized religion. They use the only weapons that they have, their bodies, their bodies strapped with a bomb.

What about the less radical Muslims? Now they are in a bind. They agree with the goal of a modern Islamic state, but not necessarily the method. They are unwilling to condemn one of the own.

Terrorists have attacked the US. The same terrorists that want to kill all Americans. How can we win the war on terror when most of the resources are elsewhere?

All religions have extremist , Terrorist, Hi - Jackers & sucide bombers are not rewarded for killing innocent people infact Islam forbids the killing of women , children & old people. These people that kill the innocent will not be respected by a true muslim for what they did. Islam is a religion of peace.

I would like to think that people can seperate the extremist from the religion itself because i certainly do not judge all christians because the crusaders killed millions of muslims.

I also do not label all Americans as bad just because thier goverment has killed thousands of muslims.

You need to seperate the crimes from the religion or country & blame those that are directly reponsible. Islam is inoccent & so are millions of muslims like myself who are against terriosm.

I hope the world will wake up & realize the beauty of Islam because as a true muslim I only follow the teachings of the Quran & the example of the Holy Prophet (saw) , anything else from other books written by so called knowledgable muslims that promote killings of innoccent people - i donot read those books or
agree with whats in it.

Let me think, The hindus and the Islamics have had contact attacks against each other using terrorist attacks in India and Pakistan. The Irish have had contact tension with the Protestants and the Catholics. Hell the Protestants and Catholics are the same larger religion of Christianity yet they kill each other through terrorists attacks. Every religion has radicals and extremists, the question is if they can gain power and influence others around them.

Some people give a bad name to a good thing. But these terrorists get their knowledge from the Qur'an and its over 100 violent war verses. The Americans had some pilots commit suicide by diving their planes into the enemy ships..Colin Kelly (sp?) got the Medal of Honor after he died because he sent his aircraft into a Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier? well, we had them too..what was the Alamo?
But saying that..the suicide warriors are the last resort of a a failed military..that what i heard...
but i think the problem is we do not know the real story in history and historians edit out what is not popular for our citizens..

They are ignorant of their own religion.
Islam IS pure..Muslims are NOT.
Islam spread so fast trough Europe and Asia when it was revealed and the Muslims then were true Muslims (for the most part..no one is perfect) and they treated women with respect and liberated them from the unruly and unjust kings of Arabia...and If you ask well why isn't Islam and Muslims like that today.my answer Islam is still the same..Muslims are not.

but Muslims have become full of hate..and i cant blame them entirely. I mean when you are terrorized in your own land you tend to grow up with hate. Like in Iraq right now.
