hi
we live in sydney nsw. australia
we have a dog he is called rocky and hes a labrador x staffordshire bull terrior
he is 3 and a half years old and we've had him since he was 9 weeks old. he has the perfect health, he's desexed and microchipped and registered.

my dad trained him since the beginning and he knows how to do many tricks and RESPECT! lol

but seriously, he is the most perfect dog. the colour (blondy-brown) is perfect and on every paw, and the tip of his tail its a patch of white so it looks like he wears socks. he also got white around chest/neck which looks like a scarf. hes all set for winter all year round!
and most remarkable is that he talks! he understands 3 languages, english, persian and everyones body language. ecpecially with my dad. the only problem is that he is not social with other dogs. he is very protective of his area. maybe its because he is half a staffi.

he plays rugby touch. he knows the rules but always he takes the ball and wins. when we first got him, it was rocky against like 5 kids. he beat everyone without cheating and stayed in the line.

he comes with everything:
2 houses and clothes and everything that a dog needs. we will give him away free only if we know he goes 2 a good home where the family or person cares for him and actually for the 1st month or so we have access with him so he doesnt get homesick or sad because for his whole life he has never been away from the family. we love him, and as the saying goes dog is mans best friend. its truely true.

just the one condition: we have to be sure that the people care for him and treat him like one of the family. the only reason we are going to give him away is due to a member of family health situation.

i cant give a 100% guarentee that we can give him but if your interested please email me on lidaspost@yahoo.com.au

thank you.

I live in Victoria and the way I found my (Dalmatian) breeder was through http://www.dogzonline.com.au . It only shows GOOD breeders who screen their dogs of all hereditary diseases. The puppies from the breeders on this site may be more expensive than what you would find on the Trading Post but if you want a healthy, life-long companion, this is the site to find a healthy puppy. A few other small breeds that you may want to consider; Pug, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Boston Terrier, Papillon, Pomeranian, Chihuahua (not good with children) or Bishon Frise. For a total list of breeds go to http://dogzonline.com.au/breeds/list.asp and click on the breed that you want. Be prepared to pay a fair bit of money (usually over $500) for a purebred, top quality Toy Poodle from a reputable and registered breeder.

Toy Poodle breeders with pups available NOW in NSW:

Toy Poodle breeders without puppies available now in NSW:

Edit: another really good website to check out is http://www.dogs4sale.com . It has breeders of almost all dogs in Australia and New Zealand. Or you can take a look at the RSPCA in your area. They probably will not have purebred toy Poodles available but they may have Poodle crosses or a different (small) breed. Go to their website at http://www.rspcansw.org.au/ to take a look online without going to a shelter just now. A page on that website that might help you is http://www.rspcansw.org.au/animals_online_1st_page . I hope I helped you out a bit. Goodluck and I hope you find the right puppy for you :)

If you want a puppy go to the local pound or vet (if they keep unwanted/found/lost dogs there). There's dogs, puppies, cats etc that don't have a home and if they're not claimed in around a week they get driven somewhere and are killed (they take up too much space, and besides, no-one wants them). This is what they told us when I lost my dog, and found her at the local vet around 3 blocks away. I feel so lucky to still have my dog! Please help the animals and get a pup from the pound (like RSPCA). It will save our animals and is probably cheaper than going and buying a pup at the pet shop!! Go to http://www.rspca.org.au/ to adopt a pet !! good luck
