I had a similiar situation with a roommate - we took a Biology class together and though I tried to help, my exam scores far surpassed hers. Being a couple is hard - you have to accept that you both have strengths and weaknesses. He needs to respect that this is one of your strengths. Don't drop out - why would you? If he's going to be stubborn and not accept your help; well that's his problem. You shouldn't stop with anything you're good at, just because its causing a problem for him.

Try not sharing exam scores - make sure you're not bragging if you do. Help should always be offered gently and subtly - never in a condenscending tone. Just make sure you're doing this stuff, and things should work out fine.

do not drop out of the class it isn't your fault your guy has to much pride and refuses help, and don't let him use that pressure excuse on you, he is refusing the help not you. Do not feel guilty for being intelligent and DON"T dumb yourself down to make him feel better. Next time you get a score on a test or quiz don't tell him your score. Good luck

Which is more important - education or your bf. May be you have to tell your bf that you're not competing and there's no need to feel stressed out or pressured whenever you get a better grade than him.

Don't drop out. Tell him how much it hurts your feelings when he compares you to himself. Make sure he recognizes that both of you have unique qualities and differences and must be accepting of your academic superiority. If you were a doctor and he worked at Burger King, would you leave your job to make him feel superior????

You shouldnt drop out and you shouldnt feel guilty. You need to talk to him and tell him how you feel . It seems like they guy might have some problems with self respect, or just respect.

Tell him to grow up. Everyone learns on a different level and excelles in different areas. He has to deal with that.
