Just make sure you do a Part-Year Resident Return Allocation for both Arizona and Missouri.

You'll need to file part-year returns for both states for the year of the move. The income attributable to each state will be apportioned and you'll pay the tax due to each state.

If you moved in 2007, you must file a MO resident return for 2006. AZ is NOT entitled to tax your 2006 income if you did not live or work there in 2006.

For the 2007 tax year, you will file a part-year return in MO listing the MO income and a part year return in AZ listing the AZ income.
