Now, I think I should follow my mind not my heart.

Hi. It's hard being a single mom, but it's harder sometimes to be alone as an adult. I don't mean "You need a man." I mean that single mom's sometimes don't have the time to have friends. It's nice sometimes just to talk to another adult. No discussions about Yugioh or Who is wearing which brand of jeans...

I was a single mom for a while. I ended up getting together with a friend of mine. He was married when we met, and no romantic interest really... just coffee and someone to talk to.

Don't get me wrong. He had a son, I had a daughter, and his wife was this viscious woman who was openly cheating on him and told him "There's nothing you can do because no one else would have you" because he has a physical disability.

When he finally left her, he and I spent long days with the kids at the park or at McDonalds. We went for coffee... And it just worked. We've been together for nearly ten years now.

So, I guess, I'm saying that if you just go out and find people to talk to, the rest will work itself out. Your heart is pretty important, and so is your mind, but it doesn't have to be one or the other.

I'm going through the same thing and I started with my higher power and since then I have seen relationships, life and myself in a extremely different frame of mind. I have come to believe my heart is the safest decision maker @ this time because it is my GOD conscience ( I hope I don't offend you I believe in a Higher power) My mind tends to play tricks on me. This is not advice this is just my story! My higher power is the ruler of all things! Try one for yourself first
