I would only imagine and hope it would be a qualified professional, if there are any out there, that would be doing the spanking. Not some sick perverted crazy person that gets some sexual thrill out of it.

Yes, I have given many spankings for therapeutical purposes. There are many reasons that spankings can have beneficial effects when administered properly.

One of these is pain relief. An intense spanking releases endorphins in the brain, a natural painkiller. This creates a natural high that many refer to as "subspace" and is very similar to a "runner's high." It's not uncommon for a person with a painful condition to turn to spanking or BDSM for this reason. I personally know of several spankos with fibromyalgia that benefit from this endorphin release to ease their pain.

A spanking is also effective stress relief, for various reasons. In most cases, it takes the from of lighthearted play that takes a person's mind off of their troubles. In more intense spankings, the release of tears is cathartic, and allows a person that might not be able to cry normally to alleviate some built up stress. Also, individuals that feel guilt for misdeeds may find an emotional relief when they are disciplined this way.

I've heard many spankees say that they sleep better after a spanking, probably because of the relief from pain and stress detailed above. I've noticed that most spankees experience a calmness after a good spanking, regardless of the reasons for it being given, good or bad.

Since I have been on the web , about 9 years now, I have given such therapy to several females. I have seen that it works to correct habits or actions. Butt, once the therapy is stopped, many return to the bad influences. 2 times though that a request to stop a female from smoking ciggs , using spanking therapy, both times they stopped. Even after therapy ended. Are you considering this type of therapy? If you like more info on my past , feel free to ask me at spanks_girls at Yahoo

It's sometimes claimed that spanking can have therapeutuic benefits, though as far as I know no one's done any serious research into it. But from personal experience I know it can be a very effective stress reliever, offering an emotional and physical outlet for tension. And girls have often told me they never sleep so well as after a good sound bedtime spanking.

Well, I think that since spanking is generally regarded as a punishment, it's kind of odd to think of it as a potential therapy. Who would be spanking you?
