Not if one of the religions recognizes the validity of the other. Many Pagans are also active in Unitarian Universalist Churches as they accept the divinity of Jesus while also recognizing the truth of the old Hellenic saying "Differant polis(city), differant nomos(ways)" and understand that there are other gods than just those worshipped by strict Christians

Not at all!! No one religion can provide the whole truth. It is not because the answer does not reside in one, but rather because the answer resides in many at the same time. The downfall of religion is the fact that they are all formed by mortals who only claim to have a hearsay on the truth. To find the truth yourself you must go above the heads of single minded mortals and dwell in the nether regions of truth. The best way to do this is through prayer. Nobody can tell you how to communicate with your god. To do so is to impart on a personal relationship between you and your maker. You were made in the same manner as the person who "made" the rules. If they saw the truth before publication, you can do the same! God bless you and yours.

It depends on the religions!
Neo-Paganism and other polytheistic religions I would think would be quite compatible.
If you are an active member of two religions, and one or both teach that they are the "one true religion" then that would be contradictory.

Which two religions? Are they contradictory? What are the basic core beliefs of these faiths? Do they match up?

Yes, but it's pretty normal for us to be contradictory. Life looks pretty contradictory much of the time. I believe in everything.

It would totaly depend on the religions and your attitude to faith. Ghandi said he was all religions as he saw them all as a quest for truth and only the unimportant details made them different..
