It all depends on how you feel about your public schools. I would not do the home schooling. If the public schools are good, and you are trying to save money then I would say that is the way to go. On the other hand, private schools are known to have a higher education, and I really like the fact that most private schools have a uniform dress code.

public or home school.
I am trying to answer the same question so I have weighed the consequences and heres what I have observed.
Public gives you the social side of school and if you are dedicated (being involved in school sports or clubs helps a lot) you can get a perfectly fine education. Of course, some teachers punish the students as a class.
Home schooling deprives kids of the high school experience BUT that may not be a bad thing. There will not be nearly as much pressure on the students. Also, they recieve a very good education with little to no distractions as long as your home is a good environment for a little silent work.
Hope this helps!

I've been to public, private, and home schools. Public school is okay if the student has a good head on their shoulders. There's drug dealing going around everywhere, so they should have the whole "say no to drugs" thing going on for them. Private schools/Catholic schools may have students who like to rebel. Kids copy eachother, so watch out for that. Finally, home school is all right. It may seem like the student will have no social life, but if he/she has a good group of friends I think they'll be fine. I personally went to a home charter school. I think this is the best choice. You'll just have to make sure that the school is following a good curriculum and stays on top of things. Make sure they maintain good communication with both students and teachers. I hope I helped!

Home school you need time and money but you know what your child is learning and you know what happens to them.
Public school you don't need time but you do need money and you don't know what your child is learning or what happens to them.
Catholic school a waste of time, money and just like public school you don't know what they learn or what happens.
Private academy you don't need your time but you need lots of money and just like the public and catholic school you don't know what happen to your kid and what they are learning.
So you make the call.

First of all, there is no such thing as a stupid question. In my opinion, I prefer Public School. It looks upon all religions, as well as covers everything that you would see in any of the other options.
