Didn't you know....the cold is a caused by global warming...so are tornadoes, wildfires, lack of rain, excessive rain, lack of snow, excessive snow.....oh yea I almost forgot....it's also linked to obesity.
Remember the warnings of more destructive hurricanes to hit the eastern seaboard because of global warming??? They had a total of zero hurricanes this season making landfall.
Must because of global warming.
They say they can predict the weather conditions due to global warming years in advance...yet they can't predict whats going to happen more than 5 days ahead.

"Global Warming" is a description of the whole planet's climate.
"Weather" is what is happening in any specific location at any gien time.
What you are experiencing is "weather", in the Winter season.
If you take the "average weather" for the entire year, you have an approximation of the climate. If you look at how that "average weather" changes for a century, you have a better approximation of what the climate is doing. If you look at how the climate has changed over the last few million years, you get a picture of the
HOWEVER, the political talking point of "Global Warming" is not really about the fluctuations of the climate. It is rather about how human activity influences the climate. Proponents of "Global Warming" say that human activity is causing the warming.
As has been mentioned elsewhere in this forum, 40 years ago, the hoopla was that we were about to enter an ice age. Now the fear is run-away warming.
In fact, the earth's current climate is still a few degrees below the average since life began on this planet.

People sometimes confuse weather with climate. At any time the weather can be anything. The climate is the long term average. If an IPCC scientist made that argument, first they'd laugh at him. Then they'd kick him off the project.
The only way to know what the climate is doing is to measure the weather over a long time carefully and analyze the data. That's what climatologists do, and here's the result:

This is hardly Al Gore's thing. The science and the data based and peer reviewed IPCC report have setlled the debate. These people think so, and they vote Republican. They're serious people. They don't get their science from Al Gore, they get it from the best scientists in the world. They've heard the global warming deniers arguments, and they're not buying them.
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
"The overwhelming majority of atmospheric scientists around the world and our own National Academy of Sciences are in essential agreement on the facts of global warming and the significant contribution of human activity to that trend."
Russell E. Train, former environmental official under Presidents Nixon and Ford
"We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late. The science is clear. The global warming debate is over."
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican, Governor, California
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
John McCain, Republican, Senator, Arizona
"These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."
President George Bush

Global warming is trying to trick you into a false sense of security.
In like 150 years it will come back with a vengeance. I wonder what we can demonize then.

Short term weather events have NO relationship to global warming. You make the same mistake a lot of people do by ignoring the totality of global warming and thinking only of you and your little chunk of earth.

It was postponed by the new ice age the same 'scientists' predicted back in the 1970s.
