Yes. Anything can be toxic to the body, even water if you drink too much of it. A tablespoon a day is all the aloe juice you need to get the health benefits. They also make capsules of it. A good rule to follow when it comes to putting anything in your body is too much of a good thing is always a bad thing.

I doubt it very much at modorate doses (I've seen it in shops as a drink- smells nice but tastes too weird). It couldn't have been licenced unless it had been tested & proven to be harmless.

But even water can be toxic at high enough doses....

I have never heard of that. I know that it has an antibacterial nature. My mom drinks it everyday and puts it on her face every night. She is 73, looks 52 and in really good health. I used to think she was crazy but maybe I need to follow her lead.

if you drink too much of it,
it can make your food move too quickly thru your body.
is that what you meant???

it can have a cleansing affect that can feel toxic.

It's supposed to help cleanse toxins.
