Burn more calories then you consume. Squats, lunges, yoga, and leg lifts.

Try taking a stationary cycling class or go bicycling for about 45 minutes to an hour or day. It's a low impact activity so it's great on your knees. You get a fabulous cardio workout, which helps you burn calories, lose the fat, and tone and shape your legs. :)

yes dancing is very good for you...

squats are awesome in that area, turning your feet out, and further apart will work different areas...also leg lifts.. either standing or laying down..
as you gain strength you will be able to do more and go lower...
