I have to say as a bartender that I have never heard the word "wonky" used in a sentence before, never mind as a reference to the effects from the consumption from wine or alcohol.
But I will say wine does give you a different type of buzz that other forms of liquor.

Living in Nappa CA , I myself dont drink wine ( dont like the taste) but I do like sweet drinks (im not gay im mikes wife lol)
