my friend thinks it is not good enough than classroom learning.i am enrolled in associate degree.

Thats not true. Same books you have to open. Same material. No one around to communicate with. You still have exams. Your friend is just an idiot.

It can be.

It depends on 1/course quality (a poorly designed course online vs. an apathetic teacher), 2/student discipline (Will you slack off more if no one is watching? Or would you slack off more if there were others around to distract you?), and 3/student learning style.

If your distance learning school is an accredited organization with excellent credentials for whatever your degree is in and you think you can handle it, then it can be just as good or better.

Yes. My sister has two classes online because she has to work, and she just cant quit. She is also working on an associate degree. She says she loves it and I believe her, I tried to get enrolled in an online course but they were filled. Its a great idea for the busy people.
