It seems like he might be interested in you. If you're interested in him, just tell him explicitly. Guys like girls that do that for a change. In the rare chance that you were wrong, he'd be flattered anyway.

He's testing the waters to see if you are friendly or are not into him. You probably don't understand this, but every time a guy talks to a women, there's a little voice in the back of his head asking if she is going to sue him. A sexual harassment charge will get him fired or expelled from school, and if you go after him with a stalking charge, he gets put in jail and put on the sexual predator registry for life. If you like him and want to take it to the next level, you are going to have to tell him outright - dropping hints isn't enough in this world anymore.
It sounds like he respects you enough not to hit on you or sneak around after you, so you should go with him.
Is this the same guy you were asking about 3 weeks ago?

He could just be chatty or he likes you & doesn't know how to say it. Just talk to him & take it slow. See what he does if you start talking to him a little bit more. Watch how he reacts to that, if he likes it then take it slow & see where you can take it.
If not then he probably just wants to be friends & you should talk to him about it if you want to make it something more. If he doesn't then just keep things as they are for now. He may soon come around to the idea.

He's interested in you, but too shy to make a move... If you like him then make it easy for him by talking to him and be the aggressive one... If not just give him time and he will built the courage to ask you out...

Well, I don't really like for you to expect too much from that guy's action because we have all our differences so much as for males. You cannot really count on that. I can't really interpret his actions , well greeting you from time to time is normal for someone with manners. Please elaborate, does he now asks you for date or something or does that guy seem notice you unlike before... well this one is different.
When we like the guy we could be expecting too much from such actions so for me I think you first have to isolate your feelings towards him so that you can really check on his motives.... well if anything happens and you really like it then go!...

all depends on the emails. but it sounds like he likes you. propibly trying to build up the courage to ask you out. if you like him do him a favor and ask him out instead it will blow him away.

if u know this guy in the real world..it means he likes u...but take it slow and see what happens...just be nice...if u only know him online...be very careful..he may not be who he says he is...and want more than ure friendship

When i was in university, some guys where afraid to chat to me in person, so they sent me instant message, after seeing what crap i could write-LOL, they would laugh, approach me &we become friends afterwards.
