I want to get her something personal, and meaningful. Of course I'm taking her out to dinner, getting her flowers, etc. But the gift that means something that I will be giving at the end of the night needs to be personal, maybe even sentimental. She likes the ocean, nature, and she studies meteorology. She's kind of a tree hugger person, but not really. I sort of just started dating her maybe 3~ weeks ago, but we've gotten real close, real fast. I don't want to get her any kind of crazy jewelry. Not yet at least. A bracelet or something semi neutral might be OK, but nothing over the top in terms of price or glam.
I'm open to any other ideas though. I'm stumped at this point... guys... girls (especially) help me out!

1. Buy a picnic basket and fill it with misc. items you two can do together later. ex: bubbles, chalk, oragami book and paper, coloring book and crayons, cheap game like pick up sticks
2. Think of something she mentioned in passing - and get her a little something to do with that
3. A fish (complete with bowl and food)
4. A coupon book with coupons for things like: back rub, movie night of her choice, you make dinner for her, picnic, etc.

Look her in the eyes and tell her that you are getting very close to her that it never happened before and you want to tell her you love her, but you don't want your heart broken. Let her know that you really care and then that's when you give her the bear, make sure it has a heart in it, and tell her to take care of it. And get her a bracelet not to much but something she can wear everyday, with anything. If that doesn't work your screwed, but trust me I'm a girl who turned a guy around and show his sensitive side.
