My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 3 months now. We met through work and have been working with each other in the same facility for some time now (meaning we see each other everyday and hear all the gossip and such). I know what you are thinking, dating a co-worker is as good as driving a car with a flat tire, but let me tell you that is not true. We connected in a way I haven't for a long time.

So anyway, we were working fine a couple of nights ago, we were talking and making jokes, and I had to go over to the one machine to get it started (10 mins) and after that she wouldn't talk to me. I tried asking her nicely tonight (a night later after her not talking to me last night) "what did I do? I seriously have no clue." Her reply was "you should know." I am seriously clueless and just wanna know if there is something I should do to make her come around and tell me because it is really bugging me. Why do you women do this crap to us.. please any advice would be a big help.

Thanks for the advice guys, I've made up my mind. Screw her. Seriously. We've gotten into dumb fights in the past, I walked off of my job recently because of her being a spoiled brat there. She's never been taught values and only cares about herself and because of an answer here I guess it's true that someone that immature (she's 30 by the way) at her age is definitely not worth my time or anyone elses. All the crap I do/did for her and got little to no appreciation, I'm just sick and tired of it. It's time for a new girl who's my age, acts it, and doesn't play stupid little games.

It is a control issue at this point. When you have offended her in some manner, and you ask what it was so that you won't do it again, "You should know" is her way of punishing you. Do you really want to be involved with someone so immature that she cannot express her feelings in a less passive/agressive way? Don't let it bother you and move on as if nothing has happened. Either she will come around and let you know, or she won't and you don't have to worry about it. But I will repeat the old addage: don't dip your pen into company ink. By this time, she may have told someone else what you did, but not you. Is this how you want to work -- in a loaded minefield?

Don't you just hate those stupid head games?

Well, we all have to deal with such situations in ways that fits our personality, but here is the way I HAVE handled such situations.

In a CALM tone I say "Look, I really don't know what's wrong, and I can't read your mind. When you're ready to talk and work this out, I'll be ready." Then I walk away. It may be 5 minutes or 5 days, but eventually she will approach you.

In the mean time, just be civil and professional. Don't be rude, but give her space. Don't beg, plead, or whatever, you're just enabling this stupid game to continue. Be the mature adult and just wait it out...or move on.

Go back and analyse everything that you said and did right up to the point of going to the machine that you had to get started. If you don't come up with an answer, maybe your better off without her.

Just look her in the Eye and be like can we be serious, and be like i have a lot of respect for you but if you don't tell me what i did wrong i can't fix it since im clueless on what i did. And if she doesn't tell you i guess you kno waht kind of person she really is.

While you were away, maybe someone gossiped about you to your girlfriend and she has taken it badly.

Try consoling her with flowers and candy and assure her that whatever you did (even if you don't know) was wrong. Tell her that you love her and all I can really tell you is to assume she is thinking the worst.

Good luck.
