If a member of a mainstream religion, where did you find this answer you are giving me? How can you answer if you can not practice this?
Background:
When I was young and hot headed, rash possibly, I cursed many people, for their actions and lack of actions. My question is for those whose faith deals with curses and blessings. How long does a rash curse exist. I also heard people can be protected and the curse returns to the source, so I am cursed by myself.
So my question is related to time, duration. Years?
Also, being Roman Catholic, (I do not practice curses or blessings) I have been to confession and talked about this, so I really already am content, but I was hoping someone would know duration of time related to curses, and could tell me. Just a random thought I have about my life.
Thank you for your thoughts.

i am just a nut

but the curse stays in place to return to you until you learn to be non-judgmental or to stop cursing others.... this is an important shift which it sounds like you have already made....
from here on out the pain that will come to you is there for other types of purification,

probably to learn to love more.... more and people... more....lol

Curses and blessings have no effect outside of the possible psychological effect on the target. One who beleives himself cursed or blessed may start thinking of himself that way and be effected thereby. So the level of effect depends both on the subject knowing of the curse and is inversly proportional to his degree of logic, intelligence, and will power. If he fails in these and is psycholgically effected there is no way to tell how long that effect will be with him.

The only two kinds of beings that can curse are Satin and his followers. God is in the blessing business not the cursing business.

As for my faith, I am Southern Baptist, but I am not closed minded.

God has the ability to purge any curse/blessing, and will do it. I can't remember a specific reference, but you can probably easily look it up in your Bible "Love can cover a multitude of sins".

Don't fret over years of evil. If you're saved, your past sins are forgiven.

The effective time of any curse is identically zero: they have no effect whatever. I suggest:
