I really like the little tripper from Lands End. It is only $20.00 and it is great! It was good pockets, a deep zipper, and I like that it is big enough to use every day and small enough to sling over my back.

It says for "quick trips" but we used it for many all day trips, 6-8 hours away from home at a time. This was the only diaper bag we used from birth through potty training.

Since my son was born Jan '06, i bought 3 diff. diaper bags. 2 plain ones and one expensive one. The first one was the messenger bag type (horrible because it was so skinny) i only bought that one because it was something my husband wouldn't mind holding too., then I bought the Baby Bjorn clam shell bag off ebay. at first it was awesome, but it's rather big bulky and doesn't smush to fit in smaller spaces. Now that he's 13 months, the best thing for us is an Adidas drawstring backpack bag. It's not a diaper bag, but we can fit everything in it, and it doesn't look like a diaper bag. PERFECT!!!

I just picked a pretty one at Wal*Mart. It has a lot of pockets. It came with a diaper change pad (so you don't have to worry about laying baby on a dirty public changing table), a wipe case. It has a huge inside that I can fit everything I need with extra space for personal items or if I'm out and pick anything up. Plus it has an outside pocket on either end for bottles. The zippered part in front for the pad and wipes. A velcroed back part which I keep my baby's high chair cover in. It was only 10 bucks. Serves every possible purpose, has served me well for over 3 years, but cheap enough that had it broken I wouldn't have needed another.

I used the Vera Bradley diaper bag with each of my kids. My dad bought one for after I had each one of them and their name stitched on the front of it. They come in a variety of colors, have tons of room, lots of pockets on the inside and outside, matching changing pad, and they are machine washable. Mine still look like new so I'd say that they hold up really well, I think most Vera Bradley items do.

I would recommend the Land's End diaper backpack. It's easy to carry with lots of different compartments & room to store your baby's neccessities.

I don't use a "diapar bag". I found a big purse with a lot of pockets in it and i love it. Its not as bulky, but holds just as much. (and its more fashonable)
