lust is when you think about them sexually and once your done fantasizing about them, or being with them, you dont really care for them.
love is that wonderful happy butterfly feeling you get looking in her eyes when she talks to you, followed by a crushing feeling that somewhat resembles the sensation of being a kitten in a bad on the freeway truck lane when you realize you're ****** that she doesnt like you back.

I've never been able to truly know, and I don't think you can really ever know for sure. Even being in lust you still want to make them happy and even when you're in love you can still want sex all the time, it's good if you do.
But whatever it is, enjoy it and don't waste time wondering if it's this or that, because then you miss out on whatever it was and end up sleeping alone.

Love is wanting the other person to be happy. Lust is just wanting them.

You think more about their physical well being then getting into bed with them.
You realize that the person you look at now will change, perhaps not for the better... Yet you still feel the same way about them.
You don't expect them to do anything for you, and you're perfectly fine if they don't. But you're all the more joyous when they do.
Lastly, if you can yourself and that person happily married in 10, 20, 30 years into the future.

You know you're in love when you can be with her without constantly thinking about sex and actually appreciate being with her because of who she is inside and not how she looks outside.
