well, for one thing.... it has less fat.. so it really helps if u r trying to loose weight and get in shape... and if u get like the Oberwise** (the ice cream shop's) milk that is in the glass bottles, they don't put growth hormones in the milk either.. which doesn't make u grow (put on weight or grow wider=))
in general, itz all around better for u...unless ur trying to gain weight..

You get all the benefits of regular milk, without the saturated fat and additonal calories. Nothing changes in the milk, meaning the protein, vitamins and minerals stay exactly the same, but with the absence of the extra fat and calories. The protein in skim milk will increase by 2gm a servings making it 10gms. 2% milk is 8gm.

Skim milk is higher in sugar..when they remove the fat, they add sugar for flavouring..just check the package details.. look for the carbo content of skim versus whole or 2percent. You are better off with the little bit of fat in milk, instead of the sugar they add.
