I see people have responded with "what race" and prejudiced notions of color. This is what makes ignorance so incredibly frightening.
Obviously, you mean the human race. And why would he? Well, according to the religious he didn't condemn them to death, he gave them free will. Most say he didn't know man would sin. The same people say God is all-knowing.
Well, if he's all knowing, why didn't he know that?

I don't know, it seems that many human creators do this too.
I mean why do authors create characters that are very likeable and then kill them off - because it amuses them, because it wouldn't be a story without doing that.
Perhaps the characters need to learn a lesson and others characters around them need to learn from it too.
Is death really all that bad anyway? Why are you or others afraid of death? Is it fear of the unknown or anger at not being able to keep playing?
Is it better to live for a time than to not exist at all?
What would happen to the earth if we lived forever and kept producing more young???
Do you not think God thought of these things?

God is working out a Devine plan, here, on the earth. He [God] only intervenes into the affairs of the human race to suit the out come of His Plan. This Plan started with the then, "chosen people" - namely, the Israelites [Jews]. The Jews represented the human race, in, that they were chosen by God to reflect to all humans, the inherent nature with in us all [human nature] and all our attempts to be like God (self-righteous, self-reliance), with out God [the Holy Spirit] . The Jews were given Laws, Statutes and Commandments - they failed in keeping them apart from God - just like we would and do! This through the course of history, has the rise and demise of the various nations attempting to retain power and status apart from God - the result is guaranteed demise, ultimately. The GOOD NEWS in all of this is that Jesus Christ will return to this earth soon ( I don't know exactly when) and interfere into the affairs of man kind before the earth and the remainder of the human race is obliterated. Jesus will restore the earth and every human ever, born will have his and her chance at a relationship with Him [Jesus]. God is far from "cruel and sadistic" !!! He has all of our best interests in mind.

Let me try to explain this with an example, suppose you had children, you raise them, nurture them, provide for them, teach them. then they leave your school of training and are free to make their own choices. What if they still make some wrong choices, don't they still have to bear their own consequences? That doesn't stop you from forgiving them, and even if possible giving them a second Chance. God has given us a freewill. We are free to choose whom we serve.(Joshua ch24v14-16) when we sin we
can admit it to him, and ask God to forgive us. The second chance is provided by God in his son Jesus.John3:16) who died on the cross for our sins and rose again which symbolize the death of the old life and the beginning of the new life in Jesus. How would you feel if you were in a room where people were asking each other about you instead of asking you? You know God is as close as your next breath, I challenge you to ask him, respectfully, don't be surprised when he answers.

He created a race that would inevitably sin as a test for that race and the rest of His creations. as an example of His capabilities to create and at the same time to condemn them to death.
yes. it would make Him cruel and sadistic.

Exactly. But that is what man was thinking when he wrote about God. People don't realize that if Hell exists, then God is a sadist. That is because God knew beforehand that certain people that he created will have their flesh eternally burned off in hell. I've been alive for over 30 years now... And that would be a long time to burn in hell, let alone for eternity.
If you take it a step further, he has socioligical problems as well. He commands that we worship him and not any other Gods. If he is almighty, then he wouldn't need us to be forced to say nice things about him.

What more could God have done but to give His only Son to die a Horrible death for our sins. Adam had everything but He disobeyed God.But Because God has so much love for mankind He gave His only Son up to pay the price for mans sins. Some people think that People have died a worse death than Jesus ,but what they don't understand is Jesus had all of mans sins on His back and no person ever suffered like that.

What race are you talking about? There are a few.
No matter who you are talking about, the answer is God is neither cruel or sadistic and though He is all knowing he gave us Free will so he knows what will happen if we make certain choices but even he dosent know HOW we will choose.

God did not "create a race" destined to sin. He gave mankind a choice to obey Him, or not to obey Him. Free will. Mankind chose not to obey. And with that decision, there are consequences. Mankind did it to themselves, God is neither sadistic nor cruel. You need to re-read scripture and take it in the context presented, rather than read it bits and pieces and make hasty conclusions.

If he only created people who he knew would not have the potential to disobey him, how would we have free choice? He would only be weeding out people who disagreed with him, and there would be no choice, because the only people ever made would always choose him. That being said, we were made perfect. We were not created to fall, but we made the choice to disobey. God did not condemn us, we condemned ourselves. Don't believe Satan's lie that God is unfair and cruel. He proved Satan wrong once and for all by sending Jesus to take our consequences upon himself. We are now closer to God through Jesus than we were before we fell. We have a brother in Heaven. God did not come to the world to condemn it, but to save it. I don't know if you wanted to hear the truth, or someone just agreeing with you who would say something like, "Just one of the many inconsistencies about Christianity."
