My computer recently got some kind of virus. I know there's an F button that restarts the computer as if I just bought it from the store. If anyone knows the F button for microsoft XP, could you please let me know? THANKS.

Are you thinking of F8 to get into Safe Mode?
If you are sure you have a virus, you should run your antivirus program, full scan, in Safe Mode. To do this:
Turn your PC on or Restart. As soon as you see the black and white screen, press and hold the F8 key. Continue holding until you see a black and white menu. Safe Mode is F3 or F5. From Start, Programs, run your AV program.
When it is finished, Restart. You will probably find your icons messed up. No biggee. Drag them back into place.
