The Holy Ghost is actually an "old school" name for the Holy Spirit. Catholics believe in a single God who has three Persons. God the Father is the Creator, God the Son is the Redeemer, and the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit is the Sanctifier. However, the three Persons in God are still just one God. This is one of the mysteries of the faith, and no human being can explain it satisfactorily because we are limited in our understanding. We'll have to wait for heaven for that one. :) Hope that's what you were looking for.
