Take the little ones she is rejecting and get them away from her. She is going by instinct. But, you can get dog formula at your pet store and feed those little ones with a dropper. I personally have done this myself. Make a little box for the two of them with blankets in one cornor and newspapers in one cornor. You might have to wipe their butts off, thats what mommy dog does at first. The two little ones will be cudding to keep warm. Then need some comforting holding and petting from you to make them feel cared for. It is possible that mom might take them back. But, don't count on it. Eventually mom dog will lose interest in the puppies. I suggest a play pen to put the puppies in at this point. Gradually let the two orphaned ones get to know the other ones. Let mom and other puppies smell them ocassionally. WOW nine puppies.
Love those puppies, they will be ready to leave the nest soon.
Sometimes those little runts turn out to be the best dogs ever.
The dog I have now was the runt of the litter and he is wonderful

If she's a first time mommy, her maternal instincts probably havent kicked in yet. Being deaf doesnt help much either because the yelping puppies cant be heard.
I dont know but during the birthing of puppies, you have to supervise the mother. If the puppy died due to asphyxiation from being in the sack too long, then that's understandable but normally during the birthing, if a puppy dies, you have to take it to the vets' to have it autopsied. That's just a precaution to know what happend and if the other pups could be sick.
Since your dog is deaf, I suggest you keep the puppies in a separate basket or something because the mother dog doesnt hear them so even if she sits on them or something, she wont hear them yelping. You could encourage nursing WITH YOUR SUPERVISION. You put the puppy to feed while you watch so that none of them get squished. Of course, there are always droppers you can use to feed the pups but then it's best to get their mom to do it since the mother's milk has nutrients to help with the puppies' resistance to disease/sickness.

If she wont let them nurse, then yes you'll have to try bottle feeding, but that's every 2 hours round the clock on dogs this little, and you will have to wipe their little bottoms with wet paper towels to make them poop and pee after each feeding.. If they aren't getting enough to eat they will cry a lot, or they will be very out of it and feel cold if their blood sugar is low. Normal pups spend 95% of their time eating or sleeping, and make contented little grunting noises when touched.
She's already whelped... that means giving birth... and weaning doesn't happen till 6-8 weeks. Then you should wait about a month for the spay so her milk dries up, otherwise she'll end up with milk in her abdomen and that's not good.

I (at one time) knew a breeder who had a problem with the mom pushing the pups away. She didn't want anything to do with them. (she had a litter of 10) After the first four died because of starvation I went to her house and took them all away from her and insisted she took her to the vet asap. I hand raised them. there was nothing wrong with them, no diseases i mean. Sometimes a mom will push them away because of an illness in the pups or the mom so you might want to have them all checked but I would defiantly take them and feed them.

since your dog is deaf, you need to really help her, cause she
just isn't going to respond normally. Take the dogs under her
out of there, and make sure they are warm. Put one dog at a
time up to a nipple to make sure it's getting some milk and do
this with each pup, but expect more to die, if she's on top of
them. You are going to need to do as much as you can for
these pups or they will die. They need to eat quite often so
you better get at it. Also give the mom lots of love, and maybe
while one of the pups is milking you can give mom a treat,
The mom needs to eat and drink alot now to, keep the pups as
warm as you can so they won't want to get under her.
hope I was of some help

I don't know how big your dog is but if she is a bigger size dog it is normal to lose one or two puppies because it is hard for her to find a place to lay where she isn't on top of puppies the bigger the letter the harder it is for her . But you probably shouldn't separate them be cause they need their mothers milk. Their mothers milk has important antibodies in it that will help keep the puppies healthy also if you separate them the mother could develop mastitis. Also you should check with your vet he should be able to tell you more or give you some more options.

You could try to care for them but most likey they will die anyhow as nature has a way of letting the mothers know which are sickely and they tend to give the attention to the stronger ones.
I say go for it! Ya never know what life will bring next. If she is deaf you are correct in assuming she may not be able to hear their cries and may be crushing them accidently.

Usually the way the mother knows where they are under her is by there yelps and their warmth. It is hard with 9 pups, with all of them fighting for a nipple, the weak ones can die. I am sure they will be fine. If you take them from her she will be very nervous and distraught. Just keep an eye out, they need her warmth and TLC right now. As soon as she welps (3-4 weeks old) them get her fixed!

When our dog had her puppies she would try to feed them but when she tried to, she sat on her puppies. I don't know if it is the same situation. If the puppies are dying , see a vet ASAP.

Separate them from her, in a warmed box..and take them to her every 2 hours to nurse. I had to do this to a Rottweiler mom, and puppies did fine.(.the ones that were still alive when they were brought to me)..
