At least once a month. It always starts in the corner of one of my eyes....It gets a little sore when i move it around and a little red (just in that corner). Some times it gets no worse then that but more times then not the redness spreads through out the eye and the pain is horrible. Once it was in BOTH my eyes and it was not fun. Could this be something OTHER then pink eye since it keeps reoccurring ??

you need to go to the doctor!you eyes are not something to play around about!you could have a seriuos infection or some other underlying medical reason for this to happening!so please play it safe and go to the doctor!

Yes it sounds like an eye infection and you are transferring it from one eye to the other. Even pink eye needs to be treated by the doctor so see your doc and get this checked out ASAP before it causes permanent eye damage.

If it goes away without pink eye meds, then you probably have a case of allergies. Try allergy medications and eye drops for allergies. If all else fails, go to the doctor.

Look back to when this first started--did your Dr tell you to get rid of all of your make up and make up applicators???You could just be keeping yourself in this cycle by reinfecting yourself over and over.....I always had it as a teen. It was just so awful. I loved make up and wouldn't listen or believe that it could happen-yet it did again and again. I found the pain wasn't worth keeping the make up. Throw it all out and start over-once you are well.
When you are ill---DON'T WEAR ANY MAKE UP :)

i don't think its pink eye, I'm part native American and i inherited a thing called tarigium from my ancestors that is sort of like an over exposure to sun and its harmless and not contagious and usually i wont notice it so check it out and see if it fits your symptoms

honey, if you don't want to loose your eyesight or either your eyeball. i advise you to see your local eye doc or the e r. you don't get the pink eye that many times in one year, let alone a month. please seek help from someone who knows what going on and not the Internet.....

An easy way to check if you really have pink eye is to touch your eye. Then touch your friend's eye. If your friend gets pink eye, too, then you really have pink eye.

Its a infection of the eye when dirt or something get into or if you allgerys it can be cause by that or if you where contacts to much.
