I go to the gym get my rest times lift with a friend of mine and swim but im still not muscular or no guns persay im 5"11 near 145lbs and can't seem to get things goin. No Veins on my wrists, going down, like my friends. Just wondering what i should do in my position, it can be frustrating.

from what I understand. lighter weights and more reps build strength... heavier weights and less reps butild muscle. You have to rip the muscles in order for them to grow. But if you do not have enough fat to build up your muscles with you will not grow either. You need to eat more carbs and protien. Which for a lazy person would turn to fat but if you are trying to build muscle it will get used for that.
Make sure you get plenty of water. Muscles have to have water to build also.
So get off your diet.. I'm not saying eat junk food though...
Potatoes, rice, pasta, bread. You may see if you can get you some carb supplements from the health food store.

Be careful though.. I've seen some men that gained lots of muscle and weight and looked really nice but later in life had to stop for one reason or another and it turns to fat....

well what u can do is try lifting weights it may help and jog like every other day.eat healthy before u work out. i know it bugs but i takes time it does not happen over night. also with swimming try swimming like 7 or 6 laps a day or every other day.

leave it for a bit. i never gained muscle until i was 17 but start properly when your at least 16. also make sure you know what your doing. doing a few weights in your bedroom wont do anything. you need to have someone teach exactly how to train each individual muscle.
