To me the most vital thing Islam needs is some centralized authority speaking out against the acts of the radicals. Unfortunately, Islam is very non-hierarchical, so there is no central group of perceived leaders of the Islamic faith that speak with one voice and condemn the actions of the heretical.

Where is the public outcry from Islam's theologians over the acts of these radicals? It is missing in the media and the silence among the leadership is deafening to the observers on the sidelines.

If Christian radicals were performing the acts that we see Islamic fundamentalists doing, there would be a world outcry among the leaders of Christian organizations condemning these persons as heretics. It would be in all the newspapers, television, etc.

I believe Islam is going through what the Christian faith went through during the Reformation. During the Reformation religious leaders were forced to carefully define their doctrines, that is, what do Christians really believe? This established a baseline of orthodoxy that then could be used as a litmus test for the practices of self-professed Christians. Islamic leaders must do the same thing. These leaders must emerge and must codify Islam's acceptable beliefs and then defend them against heretics loudly and publicly.

i do no longer in all hazard do analyze on Muslim charities, because of the fact i do no longer could desire to confirm issues to have self assurance that somebody from a faith could properly be good. apart from, different than the midsection East, maximum muslim countries are those in choose of help, they have not got the money to do charity on a worldwide point. you may desire to video demonstrate Al-Jazeera, you will get genuinely advice on the Islamic worldwide there. They reported on a Muslim help enterprise as quickly as, which BBC and CNN all refused to broadcast. i'm going to offer you an occasion of a muslim state nevertheless. I stay in one, the place there's a pair of two% minority of Christians, Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and different religions. each and everything from Eid to Buddha Purnima gets a countrywide trip right here, and the form, aids, healthcare, taxes, is all equivalent for each guy or woman. actual no bias. of direction, fundies emerge now and then, yet its no longer basically from the Muslim side, and the government.consistently manages to safeguard it. Edit: in the experience that your going to ignore approximately posiitive comments basically because of the fact there are no longer any supplies or hyperlinks presented, perhaps you may desire to do your man or woman analyze, instead of asking people on an solutions talk board.

They have the right to believe what they want to believe just like I do - I don't believe they are right but they think the same thing about me - so it's not a perfect world!@~

jeff: In spite of your motives for asking this question ( you are not kidding me), I will answer this "for my editorial" too. Muslims are human being who sincerely believe - like Atheists do, that they are right with their beliefs. That is fine with me.

I am in awe of the reverence and humility shown by my Muslim brothers and sisters. I have many Muslim friends whom I love spending time with because of their easy going nature and wonderful sense of humor.

Brightest Blessings

I believe they are lost like so many others. There is one way to heaven and it is through the blood of our savior Jesus Christ. Any person who believes anything contrary is deceived.
