My teenage son just came to me and told me that his eye was
bloodshot, upon checking this out I found that his eye has an
indention near the pupil the eye is watery, bloodshot and I am
quite worried. I am planning on taking him to a dr in the morning
as its almost midnight now, any ideas whats wrong?

thanks

you need to put a patch over his eye and take him to ER NOW - your eyes aren't something to "just wait till morning" to take him to an eye doctor. it could something minor or it could be something that affects his sight permanently - really please take to ER
good luck to your son

Don't you have a national healthline you could call?? Here in Australia we have a freecall to a healthline, which assesses your symtoms over the phone to see wether it should be seen urgently by a doc at a hospital or wether it can wait. Check the front pages of your phonebook..
Good luck

He most likely had a foreign object hit his eye- that's the indentation and it is like scratching your cornea- hurts a lot. Take him to the ER they will call the eye doctor-- otherwise you will be waiting days to see an eye doctor......he will get drops to numb his eye and drops that are antibiotics--it should be better within a week..don't worry, it is something that happens to a lot of us-- like me with my nail trying to get my contact out........

If he didn't get hit in the eye with something, then it could be an ulcer. Take him in. I don't think he has a desease, but that's a what doctors are for.

just like other people have mentioned, eye problems aren;t something that you should let wait. Ideally he should be checked out now, especially with an "indent"
