Because it's the HIPPY STATE, like, pass the weed dude! Liberals have made "if it feels good, do it" into a constitutional right, as long as you are one of them. And it saves all the sex offenders from having to travel to third world countries. "Let's go "skiing" in Vermont this weekend........"
For all the above who have missed it, Bill O'Reilly has been hammering on this issue of judges handing out pathetic if any sentences for child molesters in VERMONT. He has sent reporters to interview said judges on golf fairways or at home and oddly enough the judges won't make any statements. I mean people who have RAPED kids, no denial, incontrovertible proof. Probation, community service, crap like that. Check O'Reilly's website. It's an example of why the JURY was originally empowered to prescribe sentence, not just determine guilt or innocence, because judges invalidate the law by their own will and whimsy. Even "mandatory sentencing" is being ignored. Liberal judges would rather have armed criminals out on the streets killing people to justify anti-firearm laws. That's how much they really think about the safety of your children or your life. they want a police state where anything immoral goes as long as they have strict authority over what you are allowed to do, say or think.

Are you sure about this? How do you know that this is the truth? I am outraged and I don't live in Vermont. Try contacting the American Center of Law and Justice, or the American Family Association.
If you are right about this something needs to be done about it for sure. Make sure you have your facts correct though.

Vermont's child protection law defines an abused or neglected child as one whose physical health, psychological growth and development, or welfare is harmed or is at substantial risk of harm by the acts or omissions of his or her parent or other person responsible for the child's welfare. It also means a child who is sexually abused or at substantial risk of sexual abuse by any person (including another child).

Sexual abuse consists of any act or acts by any person involving sexual molestation or exploitation of a child including, but not limited to, incest, rape, prostitution, sodomy, child pornography, or any lewd and lascivious conduct involving a child.

Funnydude,before posting stupid question,check facts.
You have been reported.
