Life. There is no such thing as soul.

A soul or a life. I don't know is it the life of a saved person? I would have to save the soul. Saving the life doesn't guarantee the saving of that person's soul. i would save the soul.

The soul is eternal. Save the life.

But hypothetically, if a soul was in danger, then you'd better save it cause we are all one and the same. It would be like saving everyone!

OK don't get mad at the answer. In a Christian world view, we know that only Jesus Christ can save a soul, so based on that I would save a life.

According to Islam: the soul is order and spark of Allah. Life is different from soul.

No body can save soul but Allah.

hands down, no question about it, saving a soul is way more important. we know a lot about the soul: it is eternal, and the body: it is only but a vapor (taken from the book of james). life is short, and if you met God's standards, your soul will be ahppy in heaven. but if you haven't lived such a great life, i would love to help you. which would you rather have: living in eternal bliss in heaven with God, or burning in hell FOREVER?

one life - even hypothetically it is considered in my faith that if you save one life you have saved the whole world.

saving souls from what? no matter, it's not something i believe is humanly possible, nor would it be any one my business even if it were.

If you're looking at it from that perspective, then it would be worth saving the person's soul over their life. Even if they died immediately after-- and it would be sad and all-- but his soul would go where it's supposed to go. He/she might be mad at you until they died, but afterward, they'd be thanking you for it.
