Took my mac to the Apple store and when I got it back the following happens: Turn on the computer, grey screen, apple logo in center then goes to black screen with white code dropping down the screen as the script loads. How do I turn that off to return it to it's original load formation? Tiger 10.4.6

Hello simonatkin,

Take your Macintosh back to the Apple store and tell them about it. That's not an Apple script. It's the Unix terminal telling you what your Mac is doing during the boot-up. No doubt the Macintosh repair guy set that up to come onto the screen at boot-up to see what was going on with your Mac.

I had heard that there was a way of doing this, but you had to hold down keyboard combinations to make this happen. I can't help you, but if you take it back to them and explain what happened, I'm sure that they could fix that for you. Best of luck to you.
